Gravel Recovery and Stabilization
The gravel has been recovered from the ditch and shoulder.
Over time gravel and binder migrate to the ditches and shoulders. Recovering this gravel and binder becomes cumbersome because of the oversized material which is commonly found in the ditches. Processing out the large rocks and dirt clods by blade is very time consuming and costly, usually resulting in a majority of the recovered gavel and binder being put back into the ditch.
Roadtech, Inc. use the V600H to break down the dirt clods and large rocks. The result is a homogenous and stabilized surface.
Get the most out of the existing wear coarse by recapturing the gravel which has migrated to the road side, mix in native soil or additive to stabilize, and break down oversized rock.
