Fahr Roadcrusher Upgrade Options

Thousands of hours of R & D, integrated with ongoing operations, have revealed surprising results. This technology does work and can perform as the original designer intended. With the following upgrades, the Fahr C-2000 now can operate with predictable results and, most important, cost-effectively! Our conversions have proven performance and will reduce operating costs DRAMATICALLY!

 

As with all rock crushing equipment, the Roadcrusher mainframe is subject to violent forces in extreme impact. Our engineers have identified the destructive energies and can make the necessary corrections to reduce further damage. Our service department has a complete shop facility to fully handle your entire minor to major repair needs.

 

 

The Roadcrusher mainframe fully reconditioned, fitted for upgrades, and ready for assembly. (Series III conversion)

Current structural upgrades for the C-2000 model include:

  • Main anvil reconditioning with cross-frame inertia plate for distorted mainframes
  • Mainframe torsion bars with absolute isolation to reduce component failures
  • Independent belt tensioning system for more 4 times the belt life
  • Integrated cooling systems for belt drives and gearbox reduced operating temperatures
  • Double spherical roller bearing retrofit lasts over twice as long at half the price
  • Wear plate rotation system which fully utilizes plates for lowest possible cost

Operational upgrades include:

  • Remote clutch operation
  • Modified air flow with oil cooler
  • Full instrumentation on ALL components
  • Dust management package
  • Engine protection system
